    Temple – A Poem

Be quiet and be gentle.Run fingers along polished wood,For it is a force with which to be reckoned,Where good meets bad, where bad meets good. So when you come to see this temple,Remember that it is a holy place.Rid yourself of all your egoStay awhile, allow embrace. Don’t carry excess baggage And leave it piled in the standsFor in this temple there can be damage,A heart…

    If – A Poem

If I had eased my own fears the way that I eased yours, I would not have been afraid to be alone. If I had built myself up the way that I did you, I would have built a happier home. If I had listened to my heart the way I listened to yours, I would have heard its painful call. If I had loved myself as much as I loved you, I would have never loved you at all.
